Acrylic covered with painted collage papers, watercolor and gouache. My cousin, Pauline, and I paid a visit to Heartshead church, the oldest in the county. My Great Grandfather's family were christened, married and buried in the church. My Great, Great Grandfather was a stone mason. He rebuilt Heartshead church in the mid 1800's. What a nice surprise it was to view the wedding party having their photos taken in the churchyard. It just so happened that Pauline knew the bride. The tree has been recorded to be at least 400 years old.
